As a professional Sales and Leadership Coach for Southwestern Consulting, Melinda loves working with others to help them achieve their goals in life. Melinda has always been a self-professed “builder,” not only with businesses but also relationships. After graduating from Purdue University with a degree in Retail Management, she entered the corporate world and consistently exceeded her sales goals with Fortune 500 companies. After 16 years as a corporate buyer, Melinda found that she truly loved sales.
Over the next 12 years, Melinda rolled up her sleeves and built a successful territory, consistently beating sales goals and winning various team awards.

As time went on, Melinda realized her next career was to help others achieve their own success, and became a certified life coach, speaker, and best-selling author.
She attributes success to being strategic, focused, resourceful, persistent, and good time management – all skills she coaches her clients on.
Something to Think About
Melinda and her husband Ryan moved to The Florida Keys in 2009. She wanted a husband “with a hobby,” never thinking that Ryan’s obsession with sportfishing was something they could turn into a successful brand, Good Karma Sportfishing, in 2012.
