A 27-year veteran of the sales industry, Jim brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership expertise to Southwestern Coaching. During his 11-year tenure at MarketSource, Jim managed several key accounts, including Apple, AT&T, Avaya, and Comcast. Each of these accounts experienced revenue growth in the millions under his leadership. He also served as an executive director for the client services team. He led numerous retail sales organizations for companies such as IBM, Palm, Time Warner, and Verizon.
Jim has a track record of success building sales organizations known for their innovation and customer focus. Throughout his career, he has led all aspects of sales and marketing development. He was called on by Whirlpool Corporation to co-author a patent application for an in-home customer service process.
Jim is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. He holds a dual degree in economics and history. Jim and his wife live just outside of Austin in the Hill Country. They have two grown children—one who lives in the Washington, DC metro area and one who lives in Los Angeles.

Jim graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a dual degree in economics and history. He and his wife of 28 years live outside of Austin in the Hill Country. They have two grown children. One resides in the Washington, DC metro area, and one lives in Los Angeles.
